Join us for the first Gold Coast Pride Formal—a free celebration for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 15–21, with allies and friends welcome.

Everyone deserves a formal where they can be themselves. Whether you missed yours, want another chance to celebrate or simply want a night out with your community, you’re invited.

What’s happening?

We’re putting a fresh spin on the traditional formal with a stand-up, party-style celebration featuring:

• Live DJs and dancing

• Drag performances

• Games, competitions and prizes

• Free food and drinks

Come with friends, bring a partner or join us on your own. All attendees must be aged 15–21.
 

Wear what feels like you

Go all-out in formalwear, bring your sparkle or keep it comfortable. There’s no single way to look the part—this is your chance to celebrate in a style that feels like you.
 

A welcoming space to celebrate

Presented by the Gold Coast Pride Collective, the Pride Formal is about friendship, belonging and celebrating who you are.

LGBTQIA+ young people, allies and friends are all welcome. The event is strictly drug and alcohol free.

Want to help make this night possible? Donate $25 towards half a ticket or $50 to cover a ticket through Eventbrite.

Your donation helps cover event costs so young people can attend for free. You don’t need to nominate a student or distribute a ticket—we’ll take care of that.
